Sometimes we need to send multiple Twitter DM to our followers. A few months ago, I’ve created TweetGuru : Multi DM for this purpose. But it is limited to only 12 followers in one time due to server resources. So, I’m releasing standalone tool for sending multiple DM upto 150 followers in one time.
Actually, This is not a executable program but it is Excel spreadsheet file that has VBA macro in it.
You can just put IDs & DM messages in Excel sheet and click button to send multiple DM.
- Enter Twitter IDs in ID cell ( A )
- Type message in DM cell ( B )
- If message cell is blank, it will use message from upper row
- Then click “Send Direct Messages !” button to send multi DM.
It will ask for your Twitter account & password that used for sending DM. - You can check source code by pressing “Alt-F11″.
To ensure I’m not stealing your password. - Limitations
- Twitter limits 250 DMs per day
- Twitter API call is limited 150 calls per hour
